This was kind of a random decision for me, but so far its been very fruitful. For a long time I was considering getting into Backbone.js.
Typically, I look for my instant WordPress site needs from theme markets such as Themeforest, ElegantThemes and many more. Really, theres a whole lot to choose from but for reliability reasons I always take a good look at the themes wordpress releases.
LAs some of you may know , I’ve been working on a new website using the new version of Bootstrap. I had previously been using Bootstrap 2 before switching to Bootstrap 3 and have welcomed the plethora of new features.
I'm take my design work VERY seriously. I treat every new project as a new chance to improve my skills and push the boundaries of what I'm capable of. I'm not satisfied with a project until I know, deep down, that I've pushed every pixel, aligned every element and made it just right. Even then I can guarantee you I'll still be thinking about ways I can make a project look, feel and work better.
When I take a new project on, I get emotionally invested. I want your project to look good, and knowing that your business does better because of that, makes me happy. I like to be able to maintain good business relationships with my clients and look back later knowing that I was part of something special..
Already have a project going on? No problem. I've worked with enough platforms and projects now that if you're hiring me on from the start or mid way through I can hop right in with ease. My biggest projects have ran like that, and while it can be tough at first, I find the challenge exciting and rewarding.
I love Photoshop. Its the industry standard, so thats probably to be expected but I really do. I like to use products like Hotgloo, Balsamiq and UXPin to make mockups and then dress them up in Photoshop. I have degrees in both Web Design and Graphic Design and while I rarely do print work the time spent learning its been pivotal in helping me learn Illustrator. Working together with Photoshop I can manage and design multiple media types.
